The changing time at Shin-Iwakuni station is quite long, we would recommend getting off at Tokuyama station if you are using the Shinkansen.

From Iwakuni Kintaikyo Airport (IWK)
→12 minutes by airport bus to Iwakuni station (100JPY), changing to Gantoku Line
→32 minutes to Suo-Takamori station (400JPY)
→ then 15 minutes by taxi (about 2000JPY)
※If you use a car rental, it takes about 40 to 60 minutes (no need to use the highway).
By car
Take the national road 2 until the crossroad Nishi Nagano Japan Post, then continue north on the road 376 towards Mikawa.
Turn left on road 142
Turn right towards Mikawa, and continue for about 5 minutes
