On parallel import of Dassai

We have recently heard that there are parallel importers who import the following product into and claims to be authorized importers.

If you find this product abroad, we would like to inform you that this sake is of parallel import, which we cannot guarantee the preservation, freshness or quality.

Dassai 39 “Funaba-kumi” is an unfiltered, raw sake that we recommend enjoying within two weeks of dispatch from our brewery.

For this reason, we do not currently export it abroad, as the required quality control conditions cannot be met under the current export logistics.

We are concerned that such a product, being distributed in a way that we do not intend, such parallel import product would – if consumed – mean a betrayal of your expectations.
